JESUS IS OUR MESSAGE

The purpose of IF Cebu is to glorify God through Jesus Christ in Metro Cebu and beyond. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus’ people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, yet our message will remain the same. And that is Jesus.

DISCIPLESHIP IS OUR MANDATE

Discipleship is our mandate (not a mere department, not an option)
Making disciples is not a choice; it’s the mission. There is something lacking in each one of us until we become disciples and until we make disciples of others.
He never intended the original 12 disciples to be the only ones; he intended they would reproduce themselves. Amazingly, he intends the same for us as well.
– We are Christ’s true disciples
– Called to make disciples, multiply
– We are called to lead people

GENEROSITY IS OUR PRIVILEGE

We see generosity as a privilege.
– We are generous with our time, talents and treasure.
– God has given richly towards us, it’s our honor to give back to Him.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP IS OUR IDENTITY

We believe the greatest leadership is service to others.
– Every leader is a servant first.
– From SALT ministry to the pulpit, everyone serves.
– Every role is different, but they are all important.
If you are too big to serve, then you are too small to lead

HONOR IS OUR CALLING

We submit to leadership and are thankful for spiritual authority.
– We choose joyfully to submit to those God has placed over us.

– We do ministry with Holy Spirit energy, not on our own strength.
